About Campus Life Adelaide
Who we are
Adelaide Campus Life is a community based not-for-profit charity. Our aim is to provide activities and support for neglected, troubled and youth at risk, with no distinction of race or creed.
What we do
We run regular programs with kids who are identified as kids at risk and helping them to realise their full potential whilst learning valuable life skills in a fun and safe environment.
Your Support
Campus life again is a not-for-profit organisation which is run entirely by volunteers. Any assistance you can provide either financial, expertise or time, goes a long way to directly help these kids. If you would like to get involved in some way, please contact us as we would love to have you on-board.
A sample of what we do
We take a group of hand-picked kids from our programs who are selected based on meeting some behavioural requirements leading up to the trips. We take them up in 4WD’s to an Aboriginal community in the Harts Ranges which is a few hundred kilometres from Alice Springs.
During the trip, the kids partake in cooking, cleaning, washing up, sleeping under the stars etc. They also learn life skills such as team work, conflict resolution, effective communication, respect for themselves and others, work ethic, team work and many other skills that translate into character traits that can be utilised in their lives back home.
